Disney's "Lady and the Tramp" first debuted in theaters on June 22, 1955. The Film was ranked as #95 of "100 Greatest Love Stories of All Time" by the American Film Institute. This was also the biggest Disney blockbuster since the release of Snow White in 1937.
The story had been under development by Joe Grant since the 1930's before it finally was approved by Walt Disney and went into production during the 1950's. Barbara Luddy starred as Lady, Larry Roberts as The Tramp, and Bill Thompson as Jock, Joe, Bulldog, Dachsie, Policeman.
All of these pieces are original vintage production cels from the 1955 feature film, "Lady and the Tramp". There are no reproductions, limited editions, or sericels. All of my artwork is 100% original production.
