   Home/Change Series

Silly Symphonies is a series of 75 total short films produced by Walt Disney from 1929 - 1939. The series mainly focused on musical novelties, and was primarily used to experiment with motion, colors, character animations, special effects, sound, etc. With the exception of a few characters from shorts such as "Three Little Pigs" and "The Tortoise and the Hare", none of the other characters were re-used during the series.

One interesting thing to note is Donald Duck had his first debut from Silly Symphonies (The Wise Little Hen, 1934) as well as Pluto apart from Mickey (Just Dogs, 1932), where they were later split from the series and made into their own feature series.

All of these pieces are original vintage production cels from the 1929 - 1939 Disney Shorts, "Silly Symphonies". There are no reproductions, limited editions, or sericels. All of my artwork is 100% original.
