This is a beautiful piece of an early Donald Duck cel with an original and production background. In this short, Donald was unloading boxes, and to his surprise, he meets the ostrich Hortense Who causes a lot of chaos for Donald Duck. This is the only short that was ever made that featured Hortense the ostrich. Later, Hortense was featured in the Donald Duck comic books after 1938. This short was released on December 10, 1937. This was the third animated short featured for the Donald Duck series and the first released film by RKO studios. Was directed by Jack King and features the voices of Clarence Nash as the voice of Donald Duck.

This set up includes two cels of Donald Duck and Hortense in full poses on a whopping huge 2 foot wide original handpainted background from the same short. It is extremely rare to find any art from this short, especially an original master background set up with both characters present.
