Here is an awesome find of an original production cel of Donald Duck riding a burro. This art piece came from the Disney animated short "Don Donald" released January 9, 1937.

The short features Donald as he attempts to woo a Mexican female duck named Donna. While trying to impress Donna, Donald forgoes his 'old burro' for a much better ride, a car. However. as the car develops car trouble and Donald finds himself in a major bind, the burro is the one to have the last laugh!

This short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen. This short also features adaptations of the Mexican songs "Cielito Lindo" and "Jarabe Tapatío.".

Another interesting bit of information is this is the first installment of the Donald Duck series featuring Donald Duck as the main character, whereas prior, Donald Duck was seen in Mickey Mouse shorts. Additionally, Donna Duck is arguably said to be the early version of Daisy Duck (again, this has been heavily debated).
